RULES AND REGULATIONS
GENERAL RULES
  • ALL GAMES will be played on singapore servers
  • All teams are encouraged to have an Instagram account for promoting teams and tournaments
    • e.g. Post a squad list announcement and tag @fosseesports
  • The schedule may vary according to the season and number of participating teams
  • The official schedule will be announced in the Discord channel before each competition
    - Teams who do not have a participation rate of at least 80% will receive a 1 season ban
  • Match coordination must be done in each respective home team's “matching lobby” in the fosse esports Discord server
LEAGUE RANKING
  • League Rankings are determined by:
    • Match points → Goal difference → Goals scored→ Yellow and red cards
  • Points awarded per match:
    • Win: 3 points
    • Draw: 1 point
    • Loss: 0 points
PLAYER AND TEAM REQUIREMENTS
  • There will be no height or weight restrictions for player character creation
  • Minimum of 6 players per team for league matches
    • Failure to comply results in a default 2-0 loss
  • Players must be contracted to the correct team; otherwise, a default 2-0 loss is imposed
  • Maximum squad size: 25 players
    • First offense: Warning
    • Second offense: Team reset and Manager ban for 1 season
  • only registered players may participate
    - Players have to be transferred into the team at least 24 hours before match time to participate in each match week
    • Unregistered players lead to a default 2-0 loss and suspensions for involved parties.
    • If an unregistered player goes into a match, HE/SHE WILL RECEIVE A 1 SEASON BANTeam Captain AND MANAGER WILL ALSO BE SUSPENDED FOR 2 MATCHES
    • If you notice any suspicious player IDs, please report them to the admins for investigation
TRANSFER RULES
  • 1 player can only play for 1 club at ANY POINT DURING THE season.
  • Players can only transfer if they are free agents
  • MANAGERS ONLY HAVE TO APPROVE THE TRANSFER REQUESTS in
  • Transfers are allowed throughout the season
    • Players can play for their new club only if the transfer is communicated 24 hours before game time
    • I.E. at 22:59HRS SGT on Thursdays.
MATCH RULES
  • No “Any” operation is allowed; violation results in a default 2-0 loss.
  • Keeper disturbance at Free Kicks or Corner Kicks leads to a default 2-0 victory for the opposing team.
    • Management will investigate malicious acts
  • Provocation resulting in management deems a malicious act will lead to suspension
    • Duration OF SUSPENSION WILL BE determined by THE severity OF MALICIOUS ACT
  • No overtime will be played. Match score at the end of the 90th minute will be recorded
    • In case of a draw, PLEASE allow 2-3 minutes for opponents to record statISTICs before leaving
DIVISION/RELEGATION SYSTEM
  • To be decided
DISCONNECTING FROM MATCHES
  • Teams may disconnect early if:
    • NO MORE than 10 minutes in the game HAve PASSED
    • Goals scored BEFORE DISCONNECTION may or may not be recorded based on circumstances
      - there must be a good reason required for disconnection (e.g. SIGNIFICANT TEAM lag)
    • Each team is allowed one disconnection per game unless glitches occur
      SHOULD THERE STILL BE PLAYERS DISCONNECTING AFTER EACH TEAM HAS DISCONNECTED 1 TIME, THE GAME WILL GO ON DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS UNLESS THERE ARE ANY IN-GAME GLITCHES (VIDEO EVIDENCE REQUIRED
      - SHOULD THIS OCCUR, PLEASE CONTACT THE ADMINS IMMEDIATELY FOR A SOLUTION
    • Teams can request a kick-off delay of up to 10 minutes, communicated at least 30 minutes prior
    • If a team does not participate for two OR MORE consecutive match nights, THE ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO remove THE CLUB from the season
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managers are signed to a minimum 1-season contract; violations result in a 1 SEASON MANAGEMENT AND PLAYER ban.
  • Managers must ensure all rules are COMMUNICATED AND followed BY YOUR TEAM
  • MANAGERS ARE Responsible for recruiting Assistant Managers and players
  • MANAGERS MUST edit their Discord nickname to reflect their team name (e.g., Snoopydoggy (Elite FC)).
  • MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDLING TEAM CHATS AND MATCHING LOBBIES AT ALL TIMES
    SHOULD THERE BE ANY UNPROFESSIONAL MESSAGES, BANS WILL OCCUR (BAN DURATION WILL BE DECIDED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS)
MATCHMAKING
  • Managers must liaise with opposition managers to ensure timely game starts.
  • Contact must be made at least 30 minutes before kick-off.
  • Each team can request only 1 rematch due to disconnections
    - ADDITIONAL DISCONNECTS/RESCHEDULING WILL ONLY BE GRANTED FOR IN-GAME GLITCHES
MATCH DATA AND STATISTICS
  • Managers must record all matches IN VIDEO FORM
    • MATCH SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
      - VIDEO LINK (PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE VIDEO HAS BEEN MADE PUBLIC AND IS STREAMED ON YOUTUBE)
      - SCREEN-SHOT OF MATCH SUMMARY 
    • Submissions are due within 3 days of match day
      - e.g. if the match is played on a friday, match submissions will be due on monday, 23:59pm sgt
    • If a team does not submit their data in time, they will receive a default  2-0 loss
PUNCTUALITY
  • If opponents are late:
    • First offense: Warning
    • Second offense: Final warning
    • Third offense: Default 2-0 loss and removal from league
  • TEAM MANAGERS ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THEIR OPPOSITION AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE KICK-OFF
DEFAULT LOSSES
  • IF A TEAM DEFAULTS IN More than 30% OF THEIR GAMES DURING a season, THEY WILL RECEIVE A 1 SEASON BAN
  • Winning players in default losses can add a match rating of 7 for that game only
CHEATING
  • Cheating WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. ANY PLAYER OR TEAM FOUND GUILTY WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM ALL FUTURE COMPETITIONS
  • Knocking over THE KEEPER DURING SET PIECES leads to a default 2-0 loss.
  • ANY GLITCHES BANNED FROM EA EVENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN FOSSE ESPORTS COMPETITIONS
    - HUMAN GOALKEEPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRIGGER THE PAUSE MENU FOR THE AI TO MAKE THE SAVES, INFRINGEMENT WILL LEAD TO A DEFAULT 2-0 LOSS
FAIR PLAY
  • WE HAVE A Zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and discrimination
  • EVERY MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY IS EXPECTED TO BE TREATED WITH Respect and civility at all times
  • Reports of breaches must be made with relevant PHOTO OR VIDEO EVIDENCE 
Ban Lengths
  • IF A MANAGER FoldS a team before A competition ends, THIS WILL result in a 1-season PLAYER AND management ban
  • BANS FOR Harassment and inappropriate behavior will be determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Racism and discrimination result in permanent bans FROM ALL FUTURE COMPETITIONS
YELLOW AND RED CARD RULES
  • Players will receive a 1 match suspension once they accumulate 4 YELLOW CARDS within 10 games
    • The YELLOW CARD count will reset after 10 games or after the 1 game suspension has been served
  • Players who receive a YELLOW CARD for 3 consecutive matches must also skip the next active game.
  • Players who receive a RED CARD must skip the next active game.
  • If a player who has received 4 YELLOW CARDS (within 10 games), or 1 RED CARD participates in the next game, the infringing team will receive a default 2-0 loss.
    • After which, both the Captain and the Player will be suspended for the next 2 games
FOLDING A TEAM
  • Folds are only allowed in between seasons.
  • If a team withdraws from the league or a team folds before the end of a season, all matches played by the team will result in a default 2-0 loss.
    • The manager will also receive a 1 season management and player ban.
  • If a team agrees to join a league, then decides to fold/disappear without any communication, the team will be removed and banned from all future competitions.
  • If a team folds before the end of a season, all players who have played over 15+ games will be banned as well.
    • The only way a ban doesn't occur is when someone takes over the team till the end of the season.
    • The main reason for this rule is to decrease the number of teams folding and for players to not just look for the easy way out.
FURTHER AMENDMENTS
  • Amendments to the rules may occur throughout the season.
  • Changes will be announced in the Discord channel and via Instagram.
  • Managers are responsible for staying informed about the rules.
CONDUCT
  • Respect the rules, opponents, and ADMINISTRATION
  • Players must uphold sportsmanship AND CIVILITY at all times
